Ninho Globo emerges in a landscape shaped by elements between Portugal and Spain, aligned with the path of the sun and the moon. Hand-built from local black schist with the surrounding community of Salvaterra do Extremo, this 5-meter sphere appears as both a celestial body and an ancestral, natural shelter, inviting us to enter, to explore and to reflect on what we share — Earth, time, and future.
Ninho Globo (meaning «Nest Globe») is the achievement of @atelieryokyok ‘s residency in Salvaterra do Extremo for @landscapetogether project, curated by @mag.marquesdeaguiar
This whole cultural project happening in the region of @centro_de_portugal involves various partners and aims to contribute, through artworks, new trails and social actions, to local development of rural Portugal.
